North American Billing provides medical billing and revenue cycle management services to healthcare providers and medical practices across the United States. We work directly with each practice, providing customized billing support built around their specific requirements, and this policy explains how we handle information in the course of that work.
Our services are billed directly to the practices we serve, on a business-to-business basis. Because our work involves handling both business and patient-related information, protecting that data isn't a side consideration, it's built into how we operate every day.

This information reaches us directly from the practices we work with, through the billing, coding, and account management services we perform on their behalf. Some of it qualifies as Protected Health Information, and where that's the case, we handle it under the terms of a signed agreement with each client and in line with HIPAA requirements.
Every service we provide, from claim submission to AR follow-up, touches sensitive financial and health-related data. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards across our systems to keep that information secure at each stage of the billing cycle.
We do not sell client or patient information. Data is shared only where the work requires it, such as submitting claims to payers and clearinghouses, or where we're required to by law or regulatory request.
Information is retained only as long as necessary to support the services outlined in each client agreement and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
